World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
Families and communities in Solomon Islands are facing a crisis. Rising sea levels are not only ruining crops, but forcing families out of their life-long homes. We are raising funds so that they can get the seeds, tools and skills they need to grow crops to feed their children in this changing climate.
For our challenge, we are spending 40 hours in the outdoors with:
No tent; all shelter will have to be made by us.
No technology; a phone and power bank will be kept for emergencies only and documentation only.
Food, Water, and basic survival supplies.
How You Can Help:
We are enduring these 40 hours to ensure kids in the Pacific don't have to endure hunger. Every dollar we raise goes directly toward providing families with the resilient seeds, agricultural tools, and sustainable farming skills they need to adapt to a changing climate.
Your support would mean so much to us. Please donate today so kids in the Pacific get enough food to grow up healthy and strong.
Our group consists of Leon Harvey, Daniel Mason-Martin, Dylan Pascoe, Seong Kim, Kieran Langley, and Cameron Spanhake, Milla Page-Corney, Te ariki Morgan-French, Donovan Reeves-Price.
