World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

Iron Duke Sea Scouts' 40 Hour Challenge

The Venturers from the Iron Duke Sea Scout Group in Whakatū Nelson will be having a low tech camp on an Island where they will undertake 40 challenges to learn more about life in places like the Solomon Islands.

We're going offline for a short time, hoping to make an impact for a lifetime!

Please help us to raise funds so families in Solomon Islands can get the seeds, tools and skills they need to grow crops to feed their children in a changing climate.

This kaupapa matters because in the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe food poverty. Together, rangatahi in Aotearoa can help change that.

Your support would mean so much to us. Please donate today so kids in the Pacific get enough food to grow up healthy and strong.

Now’s the time to stand up and make a difference for our neighbours in the Pacific.

My Updates

We're doing it again

Thursday 11th Jun
Last year the Venturers (14 to 18 year olds) from the Iron Duke Sea Scout Group spent 40 hours on an Island to help fundraise for children living in the Solomon Islands.
This year we're doing it again, but this time with a list of 40 challenges they are writing for themselves to learn more about growing up in other parts of the world, and living with less.
