World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

Hi, I’m Samuel Vanderlaan-Spiers! On the 20th of June, I’m hitting the roads and trails around Dunedin, New Zealand, In my trolley, travelling 40 kilometres to raise critical funds for families in the Pacific battling food insecurity.
No child should ever have to go to sleep hungry, but the reality is that 1 in 6 children in the Pacific currently face severe food poverty. With a changing climate making it harder than ever for communities to grow what they need, this is a kaupapa I care deeply about.
Every kilometre I ride here in Otago is dedicated to supporting families in the Solomon Islands. The money we raise together will provide essential seeds, farming tools, and agricultural training so parents can build sustainable food sources and keep their kids nourished.
Pushing through a 40km ride in the Dunedin winter will be a tough challenge, but it's nothing compared to what these families face daily. I’d be incredibly grateful if you could sponsor my ride. Every donation, big or small, makes a massive difference in helping our Pacific neighbours grow up healthy and strong!
