WORLD VISION 40 HOUR CHALLENGE — 40 things for kids in the Pacific
Offline for a short time. Impact for a lifetime.
On Saturday, I'm doing 40 physical challenges in one day — running to the beach for water, carrying 40kg of kettlebells along the sand, a 4 min cold plunge in the ocean, 40 layups with my boys, a simple rice lunch in solidarity, and 40 prayers as the day closes.
Why? Because in the Pacific, 1 in 6 kids live in severe food poverty. That's our neighbours. And as someone who's spent years coaching young people and now leads World Vision New Zealand, I believe the next generation here can stand alongside the next generation there.
Every dollar goes to families in the Solomon Islands — seeds, tools and skills to grow food for their kids in a changing climate.
$30 = seeds for a family garden. $98 = tools and training for a whānau. $178 = a full kit to set a family up for the long haul.
