Abigail, Ezra & Bethany's World Vision 40 hour challenge

We are doing the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to provide kids with food for today, and a future for tomorrow. After visiting the Pacific Islands recently with our family, we know how hard life is for children over there. So we are passionate about raising money for this cause. 

We are going to go 40 hours without electricity. We know lots of kids around the world don't have the luxury of electricity in their homes so this will give us a feel of what it's like for them. 

In the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids is living in severe food poverty. Together, we can change that. We are raising funds to help families farm climate-smart crops and plant mangroves so they can feed their children in a changing climate.

We like your challenge - and wonder how you will go at night time?! We recently had a 6 hour power-cut, and we’re thankful when the power came back on, right at bed-time. A fortnight ago we were at a village that was the last village (up the river) with power and running water…we imagined what life would be like at the next village!
