Abigail, Ezra & Bethany's World Vision 40 hour challenge

We are doing the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to provide kids with food for today, and a future for tomorrow. After visiting the Pacific Islands recently with our family, we know how hard life is for children over there. So we are passionate about raising money for this cause. 

We are going to go 40 hours without electricity. We know lots of kids around the world don't have the luxury of electricity in their homes so this will give us a feel of what it's like for them. 

In the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids is living in severe food poverty. Together, we can change that. We are raising funds to help families farm climate-smart crops and plant mangroves so they can feed their children in a changing climate.

Mid way through

Saturday 14th Jun
We're mid way through the 40 Hour Challenge. Its cold and dark so we're having to be creative with how we do things. We cooked lunch and dinner on the BBQ, used a candle for light and used a little gas cooker to boil water for our hot water bottles to keep warm. It's not too late to sponsor us. Thank you.
