We are attempting to raise at least $5, 000 for the people in the Solomon islands. In the Solomon islands 1 in 6 children are starving and malnourished, growing up in a world where poverty is a common occurance and meals are never certain. The Solomon is located in the Pacific, and they rely mainy on crops and fish to survive. We are raising money to buy them seeds, tools and teaching to provide them with skills and resources that can feed them for generations to come. 

As a tutor class we are planning to complete one million steps for service, so that the people in the Solomon islands can serve their kids with a proper meal. Our hope is that our steps for service will ensure that the parents in the Solomon islands will not have to be nervous about how they are going to put a nutritious, healthy meal on the table for their children, so they can grow into insightful young individuals, who can, in turn help others in need and share the love.
