World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
This year is my third year doing the 40 hour challenge and this year is probably my hardest challenge yet (at least for me). I'm going to do 40 hours without any devices, meaning no communication, entertainment, or even online resources for studies for 40 hours. Thankfully, this time I'm not alone, and along with some of my friends, we're hoping to make a real difference.
You may be wondering why I'm doing this, and the answer is to raise money for people in the Solomon islands. people like Praynia are struggling for food because of rising seas destroying their gardens, making fish harder to catch, and stopping crops from growing. when a cyclone hit, it became even worse. so now, it's up to us to help support them, giving them new tools and crops so they can rebuild and grow.
So spread the word, donate if you can, and support this fundraiser so that the children in the Solomon Islands can not only survive, but thrive.

Tuesday 19th May
After going around the neighbourhood I managed to raise $50 in cash in around an hour which is great! I also handed out some fliers for people to donate online if they wanted to so that total could still grow. Special thanks to Claire who donated $53 online, meaning that so far the total is over $100 raised! Hopefully we can keep this momentum going.
