This is it whānau! It’s that time of year when youth across Aotearoa come together for The World Vision 40 Hour Challenge - happening from June 19th-21st 2026.

We’re challenging you to go offline for 40 hours and raise funds so children in Solomon Islands can get the nutritious food they need. Whether it’s no phone, gaming, social media, or even power. You get to choose what you’ll do and how you’ll do it.

Step away from screens. Step up for real change.

A small sacrifice for big impact

Across the Pacific, 1 in 6 children are living with serious food shortages. In Solomon Islands, families have always relied on their gardens and fishing for everything they eat. But rising seas are flooding gardens, crops are becoming less predictable, and fishing isn't as reliable as it used to be. Too many children are missing out on the nutritious food they need to grow up healthy and strong.

Through the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge,
youll be helping families with practical solutions to grow food they can rely on – today and in the future.
